Jeremy Hill has many years of experience in K-20 (kindergarten through graduate degree) education. He has been honored with several awards for excellence in teaching and curriculum design. He was recognized by Florida Governor Jeb Bush as a point of light for a program that became a model for school districts in the state. He also worked with Florida’s first Chief Child Advocate and Governor Charlie Crist to enact the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children into Florida law.

Jeremy taught in the legal studies department at a community college, where he developed online courses and received the adjunct faculty award for excellence. He is past president of the Volusia County Bar Association and was chosen as pro bono attorney of the year by the Florida Law Related Education Association.

Jeremy has more than 10 years’ experience in litigation and also acted as managing attorney for law firms. He served as a guardian ad litem attorney for a Florida circuit court. Before becoming an attorney, Jeremy taught at a high school, where he was named Teacher of the Year.
