Florida US Senator Rick Scott Recognizes Covenant Journey Academy
ORLANDO, FL — Covenant Journey Academy (CJA), a K-12 online Christian academy has been recognized by United States Senator Rick Scott for its dedication to delivering world-class education grounded in faith.
In a letter of commendation, Senator Scott praised CJA for making religious education accessible to Florida families and serving as “a pillar of strength and perseverance for Florida students.” Senator Scott acknowledged CJA’s vital role in advancing school choice across Florida, stating, “Without the hard work of groundbreaking schools like Covenant Journey Academy this success would be impossible.”
Senator Scott has been a longtime champion of educational freedom: “Growing up, my family didn’t have much, and we often struggled to make ends meet, but my mom always reminded us that with hard work, faith, and a good education, anything was possible. And she was right. For me and so many others, a great education served as a strong foundation for achieving the American Dream, which is why I am proud to support religious education and families’ right to decide the best way to educate their children.”
Before being elected to the United States Senate, Senator Scott served as the 48th governor of the State of Florida from 2011 to 2019.
